How do I know if our space already has what it needs?

We assess your existing cabling and network drops as part of onboarding — some spaces already have everything needed for phones and data at every desk, while others (especially older buildings or spaces set up before a real network was a priority) need new cabling run before installation.

What’s actually involved in running new cabling?

New structured cabling means running Ethernet cable from a central network closet or rack out to each desk, phone, and network device location, terminating it properly at wall jacks and a patch panel, so every device has a clean, reliable connection rather than relying on long extension cables or overloaded Wi-Fi.

Does this only matter for desk phones, or other equipment too?

Cabling needs extend to anything that connects to your network — desk phones, paging equipment, door intercoms, Wi-Fi access points, and any network switches your setup requires. Planning it properly the first time avoids a patchwork of ad hoc fixes later.

How disruptive is a cabling installation to our day-to-day business?

We plan installation to minimize disruption — scheduling around your business hours where possible, and sequencing the work so at least part of your office stays operational throughout, rather than taking the whole space offline at once.

Do you handle this directly, or is it a separate contractor?

We manage the process end-to-end as part of your deployment, so you have one point of contact for both the physical installation and the phone system itself, rather than coordinating between multiple separate vendors yourself.
