Voicemail-to-Email

The system can automatically email any voicemail to the employee, a distribution list, or a shared inbox as an audio file the moment it’s left, so a message reaches someone whether or not they’re anywhere near their desk phone.

01

Does the employee still need to dial in to check voicemail?

No — that’s the point. Voicemail-to-email means checking messages is as simple as checking email, which most people already do constantly on their phone or laptop throughout the day.

02

Can the email include more than just the audio file?

Yes — the notification email typically includes the caller’s number, the time of the call, and the length of the message alongside the audio attachment, so someone can triage what’s urgent before even listening.

03

Can you pair this with a written transcript instead of just audio?

Yes — you can layer on AI Voicemail Transcription so the email includes readable text of the message, useful for scanning messages quickly in a meeting or a noisy environment where playing audio isn’t practical.

04

Does the phone system still save the original voicemail too?

Yes — emailing a copy doesn’t delete or move the original message from the voicemail box; it’s simply an additional, faster way to be notified and to listen.

05

Can you turn off voicemail-to-email for certain mailboxes?

Yes — it’s configurable per extension or shared box, so you can enable it where it’s useful (most individual and department boxes) and leave it off anywhere you don’t need it.
