Call Flip
Call flip lets you move a live, in-progress call from one device to another — desk phone to mobile, mobile to laptop, or any combination — with a single action and no dropped connection, no re-dialing, and no awkward “let me call you back.”

What’s a real-world moment this solves?
Someone’s on an important call at their desk, needs to leave for a meeting or step outside, and can flip the call straight to their mobile app mid-conversation — the other person never even knows a switch happened.
Does the other person on the call notice anything?
No — the transition is seamless from their perspective. The call audio continues uninterrupted; only the device on your end changes.
Does this require both devices to be logged in and ready at the same time?
Yes — call flip works because the same extension (business phone number — see Glossary) is simultaneously registered across your softphone apps and desk phone, so any of them can pick up a call the others are already on.
Is this the same as call transfer?
No — a transfer hands the call to a different person. Call flip moves the same call, with the same two people still on it, to a different device for one of them.
How does this relate to presence syncing across devices?
Call flip depends on the same underlying connection that keeps your presence and status synced across devices — the system always knows which of your devices are active and ready to take over a call.
