Bulk Messaging Campaigns

Bulk Messaging Campaigns

You can send a single message — SMS or WhatsApp — to an entire contact list at once: a promotion, a reminder, an announcement, or a time-sensitive notice, without composing and sending it to each person individually.

01

What are common business uses for this?

Appointment reminders, promotional offers, service or outage notices, event invitations, and seasonal announcements — anywhere a short message needs to reach many people at the same time rather than a one-to-one conversation.

02

Can customers reply, or is it strictly outbound?

Replies come back into your normal messaging inbox just like any other conversation — see SMS & MMS Messaging — so a bulk send can still turn into a real two-way conversation if a customer responds.

03

Does this respect the same do-not-contact rules as our phone campaigns?

Yes — bulk messaging checks contacts against the same compliance list used for outbound calling campaigns, so anyone who’s opted out isn’t included.

04

Can we personalize a bulk message, or does everyone get the exact same text?

Messages can include basic personalization — a customer’s name, an appointment date, an order number — pulled from your contact data, so a “bulk” message doesn’t have to feel generic.

05

Can we measure how a campaign performed?

Yes — delivery and response rates are tracked, so you can see how many messages were sent, delivered, and replied to, and use that to judge whether a campaign is worth repeating.
